US Informa appoints Italy representative

US Informa, part of Informa Markets and organiser of several yachting exhibitions, including the Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Miami Boat Shows, has appointed Cristina Fonzar as its primary representative in Italy and business development manager.
The appointment expands US Informa’s presence in Italy, where Fonzar will serve as a local point of contact for shipyards, manufacturers, suppliers, designers, naval architects, brokers, associations, media and luxury brands looking to establish or expand their presence in the US market.
Fonzar has worked in the yachting industry for many years, primarily in the superyacht sector. Her experience includes senior marketing and communications roles at yacht builders and luxury goods companies operating internationally. She also works as a marketing and PR specialist and adviser to organisations across the superyacht sector.
In her new role, Fonzar will support existing clients while also identifying, recruiting and advising new exhibitors and companies interested in entering the US market.
“Italy represents the world-leading hub for yacht construction and maritime innovation, and our goal is to ensure Italian companies have the most effective gateway to the high-value US market,” says Andrew Doole, president of US Boat Shows for Informa Markets. “Cristina’s long-standing expertise, extensive network and strategic vision will be key to strengthening client relationships and fostering high-value, win-win business opportunities across our international platforms.”
